Benjamin Franklin once famously noted that “nothing in this world is certain except death and taxes.” To this list we could probably add “auto collisions.” Although the number of motor vehicle accidents (and fatalities) have dropped markedly over the past 30 years, there are still approximately 10.2 million car crashes and collisions every year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau 2011 Statistical Abstract.*As long as people continue to damage their cars, there will be a need for people to repair them. Helping to fill the need for collision and repair specialists is WyoTech in Sacramento, Calif.WyoTech’s Collision/Refinishing Technology ProgramWyoTech’s Collision/Refinishing Technology program offered at the school’s Sacramento campus prepares students to effectively handle the tools and repair techniques of the trade so that they are capable of repairing collision-damaged cars and trucks to pre-accident condition.
