When I open the can of candy they are dark in color and after spraying two coats its dark but the tech sheet says desired results in six coats. I called the hok tech line and Jeff said that I can dillute the candy with uc35 clear. Is this true. And one more question I dont have a high powered compressor it is a 2hp 29 gallon compressor and I am usind a transtar 1.4 gun which has 22psi inlet and gives 4cfm and 9.6psi at the cap. It is a lvlp spray gun. I dont have a place to put a two stage compressor setup at the moment but eventually I will. Should I raise the pressure to shoot the clear or leave it at 22psi? (my clear coat is coming out dull) And one more: would the Iwata lph 400 lvx orange cap work with my compressor, would you recommend it?
